STOP TALKING SHIT GUYZ AND JUST UNDERSTAND WHAT THE MATTER IS BEFORE YOU TALK........TO ALL XIAOMI HATERS Original statement of Ericsson India : MUST READ Rating: 8 votes, 4.88 average. 17 Comments by Bingo220 , 12-11-2014 at 06:49 AM (9726 Views) Its been disturbing night to all the Mi fans from India . Everywhere , Literallly everywhere on Facebook and twitter I was reading news about Xiaomi is banned in India and sort of headlines. But no one actually gave the original statement of Ericsson India . Whats the reason by not giving the original statement I dont know about it , Is it manipulating of news from Media or some sort of corporate war , No clue I have behind it . But because of such headline a hoax is spreading all over the FB and twitter . Some users are asking that Should we cancel our order of redmi note ? , Are we going to get customer care support in India if we hav bought this device ? . To all such people my advice will be , Guyz just dnt go on headlines plz read the inside storyline , We all know about our beloved Indian Media . First of all let me clear here the issue is with Patents of Ericsson, thats it . Even Micromax is facing the same lawsuit from last year, fortunately or unfortunately ( you guyz decide about MMXs luck ) they are not banned . But because of this High Court case news is spreading that Xiaomi is banned , why only Xiaomi is banned that too you guyz decide because Micromax sales rebranded smartphones . This news came only at that moment when Mi India won the hearts of Indians with their amazing devices and the company was planning to launch Mi 4 in Inda . But here is the clear picture and the correct statement . Plz read the last few lines carefully . Ericsson’s commitment to the global support of technology and innovation is undisputed. It is unfair for Xiaomi to benefit from our substantial R&D investment without paying a reasonable licensee fee for our technology. After more than 3 years of attempts to engage in a licensing conversation in good faith, for products compliant with the GSM, EDGE, and UMTS/WCDMA standards Xiaomi continues to refuse to respond in any way regarding a fair license to Ericsson’s intellectual property on fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms. Ericsson, as a last resort, had to take legal action. To continue investing in research and enabling the development of new ideas, new standards and new platforms to the industry, we must obtain a fair return on our R&D investments. We look forward to working with Xiaomi to reach a mutually fair and reasonable conclusion, just as we do with all of our licensees. Clearly it is written they are ready to work with Xiaomi. Its not like that , that Ericsson India is against Xiaomi . And here is the statement of Manu Kumar Jain , G.M, Xiaomi India . We haven’t received an official note from the Delhi High Court. However, our legal team is currently evaluating the situation based on the information we have. India is a very important market for Xiaomi and we will respond promptly as needed and in full compliance with India laws. Moreover, we are open to working with Ericsson to resolve this matter amicably. Xiaomi wants to work things out with Ericsson India & this thing will be resolved in few days . Help other users to know more about this clear news. Ask them to stop spreading hoax , haters are capitalising on this news . So its time that we Mi fans need to stand by Mi India and spread this fact.
