STORM UPDATES: Been out of the office for my Wed/Thu off days, but wanted to give yall a quick update on the systems headed our way. FRI/SAT -- Continue to expect a cold rain to overspread the Piedmont midday Friday, exiting midday Saturday. Temperatures will be cold, but I still expect just a cold rain. In the mountains / foothills there could be some brief mixing but I dont expect travel troubles anywhere outside of the mountains with this system. MON -- Looking like a longshot that the Piedmont will see any significant winter weather here. Weak system will drop south from Canada. Plenty of cold air, but not much moisture. I dont think theres any reason for snow lovers to get your hopes up at this point. - TB
