STORY 3. just a funny bedtime story of how WHEN PEOPLE BELIEVE YOU ARE WHAT THEY SEE IN TELLY, YOU NAILED THE ROLE. she is an actress. She had just hired a new househelp. Her role in the series was that of a dumb househelp shabbily dressed. Somehow, when walking in town, people would ask her if she was the one on telly, or get puzzled saying she resembled an actress on the series only that she was quite well dressed and could talk fluent English and Swahili. It was all well and good until she went home one day and her new househelp confronted her. I have seen you on television. So you go to become a mere househelp in anoher house? I can not be employed by a fellow mboch. And her househelp quit. I wonder how many actors can be believed by what they act on telly here? By Simiyu Barasa
