STRRRRRRUGGLING! Although Im super proud I got my workout in, that is definitely what I was doing during my workout tonight! Why??? Because I was STILL awesomely SORE from the *super* workout I was able to take part in on Saturday! It was a SNEAK PEEK of one of the workouts from the 21 Day Fix EXTREME thats coming out in JUST 22 days! #sayWHAT! Well let me just tell yall...that program is going to be rocking! My booty and legs havent hurt this good in quite some time. I actually started back up with the 21 Day Fix today myself, to go along the journey with our new challenge group AND in anticipation of the launch of Extreme! Since the theme of my day today was muscle soreness, I thought I might share a couple tips for you all to prevent that for yourselves... 1. Stretch. 2. Eat for rapid recovery. 3. Ice those muscles. 4. Change your diet--focus on Omega-3 rich foods. 5. Massage those sore spots. 6. Apply a little heat. 7. Keep moving. Circulation promotes healing.
