STRUCK...STRICKEN...STROKE... I was watching TV and then went to the rest room, a little after 7:30 P.M. of Thursday, 16 January. As I was soaping my hands. suddenly, my left leg bent, felt weak and slumped onto the tiles by the sink. I struggled to stand. I was successful. I unlocked the door and opened it a little. I called my brothers home landline. His housemaid came rushing with a friend to my condo unit. I was already in bed, weak... They carried me to the taxi for I could not walk and was brought to the UERM Hospital in Quezon City. I was diagnosed to have a stroke. It was a good thing I did not lose my speech, am able to move and think normally. After medications and other procedures: CT SCAN, 2D ECHO, X-RAY, CAROTID SCAN --- I recovered fast. I regained strength as the neurologist told me I could do about my normal routine. I was discharged yesterday, Monday, the 20th. I hope to be in Church again on Sunday, the 26th. I acknowledge the phone calls and visits of friends and my 2 sisters during my confinement. I acknoeledge everyone who were moved by the Lord Jesus to pray for my recovery.
