SU syndicate approves Rs. 1 million loan for treatment of an employee, recommends establishing SU campus in Naoshehro Feroz The Syndicate of the University of Sindh (SU) Jamshoro has recommended establishing SU campus in Naushehro Feroz following the name of Khan Bahadur Syed Allahando Shah. It also approved the loan of Rs. 1 million for an employee named Mehtab Ali Khamtio on his request who will be undergoing liver transplant in India. According to University spokesman Nadir Ali Mugheri, The Syndicate accorded this approval in its 187th meeting which was held under the chair of Vice Chancellor Dr. Nazir A. Mughal. The Syndicate also approved the reports on establishment of SU Larkana & Dadu campuses. It decided to oversee itself the administrative control of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Staff Cooperating Society. Syndicate The meeting also approved to solicit all the employees of the university to donate their one day salary for the noble cause of treatment of Mr. Mehtab Ali who intensely requires over Rs. 5 millions for heading to India to undergo liver transplant there, besides; providing him with the loan of Rs. one million by the varsity. The syndicate approved to extend health assurance policy for one more year. For increasing research activities on the campus, the meeting also agreed that the University of Sindh will afford the expenses of Professors thrice a year that will go abroad to read research papers there. The meeting was attended among others by Registrar Ghulam Muhammad Bhutto, Advocate Jhamat Jethanand, Dr. Imdad Ali Ismaili, Dr. Sarfaraz Hussain Solangi, Dr. Anwar Ali Shah G Syed, Justice ® Hamid Mirza, Dr. Asad Larak, Dr. Mumtaz Bhutto, MPA Kalsoom Chandio, HEC representative Altaf Shaikh, Rais Ahmed Khan, Prof. Ahmed Ali Shaikh, Muhammad Ibrahim Mahesar, justice Abdul Rasool Memon, Abdul Sattar Ansari, Badarudin Soomro, Dr. Ghulam Murtaza Mastoi and Imran Halepoto.
