SUBASE Sailors realize MLK’s Dream through Community Service POMFRET, Conn. – Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a federal holiday for most, but for the fourth consecutive year, the day was an opportunity for Sailors from Naval Submarine Base New London (SUBASE) and its tenant commands to mentor and interact with local and international youth at the Rectory School’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service event, Jan. 20.
