SUBJECT: Counterfeit Products Ever since the creation of Arigatoys Collectibles Corporation, it has been our mission to provide licensed and quality products to the Philippines. We believe that trust is the basis for cooperation within our resellers and that trust is an important currency within the community. All the work that we have done over the past years underscores this belief, as we have always strived to bring in quality products like Kotobukiya, ThreeA, Gaming Heads, NECA, Beast Kingdom, Union Creative and most recently FUNKO. Arigatoys has constantly fought to protect the interests of the consumer by making sure we stamp out counterfeit and unlicensed products in the Philippine market. However recently there has been a new surge of counterfeiting problems regarding FUNKO and one that we need to face together as a community. First, in order to address this problem, we have built relationships with various International Licensors (Disney, Warner Bros, DC, HBO, Sanrio) and Government Agencies (FDA and DTI), to combat counterfeiting at its source in order to safeguard the interests of consumers. We are consistently and continuously working with our licensors to make sure we stop these products from being sold in the Philippines. However this is almost impossible as the world is a very big place and we cannot cover everything and everyone. Secondly, we believe that protecting customer rights and combating counterfeits should be a long-term and persistent goal. To achieve that support needs to come from all levels of society, especially from the collectors. You are their customers, you are their demand. If you do not support these stores that sell counterfeit products then there will be no demand for the products in the Philippines. We highly encourage you to buy only from our Official Retailers so that we can stamp out the “pasaway” Toy Stores. If any Store or Individual is selling counterfeit products, please feel free to report them directly to us so we can take the appropriate action. We hope that by exposing counterfeiters and their supporters, fakes can be eliminated one day. It is our hope that with these efforts, consumers will no longer feel worried about buying counterfeits online, brands are no longer plagued by fake goods, and that the market will become one where honest people are the winners and not the cheaters.
