SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE 2015 WPDE WEATHER CALENDAR presented by Hyatt Buick GMC of Myrtle Beach and Gilligans Funland Golf. The deadline to enter your photos is Friday, November 7th. Send your photos to WPDEWeather@gmail. They can be relatively small files. If your photo is selected, well email you asking for a larger size. The rules are simple. Weather photos have to be taken in our viewing area. Counties include: Horry, Georgetown, Columbus, Williamsburg, Florence, Marion, Dillon, Lee, Sumter, Clarendon, Darlington, Marlboro, Chesterfield, Scotland & Robeson. Heres a tip. We get tons of amazing sunrise and sunset photos. Please send them along, but your chances of being selected are better if you have photos of anything else weather....rainbows, halos, clouds, storms, lightning, eclipses etc. Ill begin revealing the 13 winning photos (and 12 honorable mentions) on WPDE beginning Monday, November 10th. The calendars will go on sale the day after thanksgiving and youll be able to purchase them online, at the WPDE studios or by mailing a check to us. ALL proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross.
