SUN has moved forward to government close to one hundred specific documented instances of risk and harm to patients only to have the plug pulled on a joint safety review when health regions proved unable or unwilling to provide data. This has only heightened our concern that we are not properly measuring and evaluating outcomes. Patients arent cars ∴ hospitals shouldnt be designed to mimic assembly lines. As this articles says, just-in-time shouldnt be replacing just-in-case when patients health and lives hang in the balance. The longer this saga continues the more transparent it becomes that this was *never* about improving things for patients, but *all* about the Wall government spending less money & adequate care be damned.
