SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7TH, 2014 at 1:30pm !!!! (and/or at 7:00pm for a new Krrish . . . see below) YES ! Its that time of year, folks !!! The Annual showing of that Bollywood Classic, KRRISH (2006) ( on 35MM Film ! ) Four hours of Joy, Heartache, Extraterrestrials, Kung Fu, Matrix-style action, Sci-Fi, awesome special-effects, and, of course ---- Singing and Dancing !!!!! All in ONE MOVIE !!!! How can this be, you ask !?! ---- in ONE MOVIE !?!?!?!!! For those of you who came December 8th, 2006 at the 1st Annual Showing, (or any of the showings inbetween during the past 8 years), you know what an INCREDIBLE movie this thing is. But, for those who have never seen KRRISH, you DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS MOVIE !!! Your life will be incomplete without it !!!!! ( if you have heard of Bollywood --- Hindi Indian Movies --- but never seen one, then this film is THE one to see to get your education ) I lucked upon a 35mm film print of the movie 9 years ago, and boy, was it money well spent ! ( its now a permanent part of my film archive, and, as you can tell here, shown annually ) This years show is going to be a bit different, however, because after 8 years of waiting , the original producers, director, and stars have finally gotten back together and created the long awaited Sequel to Krrish ------ Krrish 3 !!! which was released worldwide last year in 2013 !!! Ive just obtained the Indian Blu-Ray HD disk of this sequel and will be running it on the same day ---- Sunday Night at 7:00PM !!!!!!!! ( Its a bit complicated as to why the sequel to Krrish is called Krrish 3 , but Ill explain that at the screening that Sunday to all of those who attend. ) ( KRRISH 3 is (in a nutshell) basically like taking the Avengers and X-Men movies, combining them, and then taking the action and special effects to the extreme . . . . . yes, I know how that sounds, but Im not joking. ) (Two of the villains in this film are called Ant Man & Rhino ----- ------------- how do they get away with this !?!?!? --------- international copyright doesnt mean much in India, I guess. ) Anyway, we are going to have FOOD too this time ! If you would like to partake in the eating of said food, it will be served between the two film showings at around 5:30pm !!!
