Risk of Thunderstorms for the Avalon, Burin & Southeastern Newfoundland. -RAINFALL WARNING: For the South Coast from Burgeo across to Cape Race. 20-50+ mm locally today/tonight, with heavy downpours. -SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT: for St. Johns & the Northern Avalon. Heavy downpours today/tonight with risk of T-Storms. 20-40+ mm locally. -WIND WARNING: For the West Coast of the Island today & tonight. Easterly Winds Gusting 100-130+ km/h. Highest gusts are expected in the Wreckhouse & areas like Bonne Bay, which are susceptible to those Easterly funnelling gap winds. Snow will mix to Rain along the Coast tonight into Monday. -SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT: For the North Coast of Labrador. Amounts will range from near 5 cm in the Nain region to 10-20 cm near Makkovik.
