In Egypt, it was God that fed the Israelites but they believed it was as a result of the labor they did. God was the one feeding them but they were giving the glory to the Egyptian system. You can be in a place where you believe that it is your pay cheque that is covering your life yet it is God who is supplying. When you are in Egypt you are going to give glory to the Egyptian system yet it is God providing for you within that system. The Egyptian system wants to claim everything that God has given you. As the Israelites were coming out of Egypt, Pharaoh was pained, if the Egyptians knew that it was their own power that made them the super power that they were, they would have not been pained by the Israelites leaving. When Moses came back from the forty days of fasting, his natural body had been imparted by God’s glory to the extent that it was shining. People could not stand to see the glory that was on Moses that they asked him to cover his face and Moses did. 2corinthains 3 speaks of the glory that Moses received when he was being given the law of the latter not that of the spirit. Scripture says that the law was the veil that covered the real thing, the thing to come. The Old Testament equals the law but the new equals the spirit, the ministration of Christ. The covering (Old Testament) became uncovered by Christ (the New Testament). Your life operates in two testaments the old and the new, before you got born again you were in the old and when you received Christ you became a new testament of yourself. There is a system in this world that not only wants to cover who you are but also the glory of God. If you want to know that people are covering you, start testifying of what God did for you, you will see just how angry they get. They want to cover your glory as if they were with you when you were suffering to get that glory. There are people who do not understand the battles that you have fought to be where you are. Nothing comes easy but scripture says that those that seek the Lord will find him, seeking is a level beyond searching because in seeking you can keep looking even if you are looking in the same place because you believe you are going to find what you are looking for. Do not cover the glory of God upon your life, and in turn do not allow any man to cover your glory. The Old Testament is the law and the law kills yet it gave you a job, car and money, if the old testament could do this how much more the new testament that gives life. Between the old you and the new you, the Old Testament was limiting you but there is a new testament which can give you better things than what you got in the old. The old you does not want you to go and hence keeps trying to impose on your new life. Whenever you receive something spiritually, the old you imposes with the old philosophy , he tries to come back to re- cover you. It is a crime for you to experience an Old Testament life when you have become a New Testament man. Scripture says in the book of Hebrews that Jesus is our Sabbath. When you entered into Jesus you entered into your Sabbath , your rest. If you struggled with finances, cars or jobs in the old, you cannot struggle of that in the new man but you should not hang on to the old. You should know the difference between the old you and the new you. People keep an old testament mentality which is why they believe that we are not blessed because we have sinned but the new testament mentality says I am forgiven in advance though I do not sin by will , God blesses me not because of what I did but because of who He is. Understand the new man that you carry. The new man is powerful, he is so connected to God that he does not need to fast to hear God; you need to silence the old man. Stop giving the Old Testament man room in your life. The Old Testament usually comes with people that have experience. Those that killed Jesus, killed Him because He was breaking their experience. People who are elders in your life can be a problem because they can try to impose the old on the New Testament. Stop being defined by Old Testament folk, it is interesting that people, who want to define you, want to define you by the Old Testament experience. People will limit you to the old that they know because they do not want to accept the new. You will only get keys which can move the doors of your life when you start explaining yourself based on the New Testament revelation. WHATEVER THAT WAS COVERED IN YOU, LET IT BE UNCOVERD!!! .
