SUNDAY UPDATE! Hey everyone! Hope you had a great weekend and I know my dad had a very SPECIAL surprise 70th birthday celebration! I was unable to fly in and attend due to a virus, but my sister and her husband, my brother and his girlfriend, & dads girlfriend had a awesome time to say least, celebrating dads Bday. Started off Friday with a Louisville basketball game and at the game we surprised him with a happy birthday, on the big screen! Then Saturday was brunch at home and cocktails around 5:30 with a surprise limo pick up at 6:30, to take them all to the Casino across the river the have dinner a Jack Binions Steakhouse and to hopefully get a little lucky! They had a blast that night and the limo really shocked my dad! Then this morning they went for brunch at the beautiful Seelbach Hotel, where my sister and her hubby recently got married. Dad was beyond shocked and surprised and couldnt believe all that was being done for him. After all he deserves it to say the least as he is the best daddy and friend to me, my sister Libby Treinish, and brother Justin. As far as me, I was extremely disappointed to miss out celebrating my dads Bday, but I was extremely sick with strep. So I am driving home leaving Tuesday morning with my fur boys and mom and we will take our time getting back by stopping at some point, so we dont have to do the over 14 hour drive which is extremely hard for me to do sitting still with my back pain and new pain from the recent spot on my past PET scan. We will arrive in Louisville, sometime early afternoon on Wednesday. Then Thursday is when I will be having my PET scan that I was suppose to have last Friday. My family and I are praying that if the spot is not gone, it has not gotten any bigger. However, if it is still there, because of my worries, and the unknown, we will schedule a biopsy, which I pray to God comes back benign. As far as staying in Louisville or returning to Florida will be determined on my scan and if necessary biopsy result. As always, I thank each one of you for your continued love, support & prayers! I am continuing to keep my head up and thinking positive and regardless of what my results day from Wednesday test, I will continue to climb my mountain and all mountains that I will face with belief!
