SUNNY 70S ARE GONE, SOGGY 60S ARE HERE ! The 70 degree days from last week are long gone, but the soggy 60s of this week wont be that bad. The large eastern trough that Greene County is under the influence of, will be sending waves of energy and thus showers our way today and tomorrow. (see map) The projected rainfall totals run around an inch of rain, and I think that may be over done. Unless we are able to squeeze out a thunderstorm somewhere along the line. The large batch of showers associated with the next wave of energy will be attacking western Pa later this evening/tonight, as an area of Low pressure heads up along the yellow line toward Ohio. With a fast moving low level jet stream along this line, its not out of the question to hear a rumble of thunder as the low passes us by TOMORROW. So, scattered showers today, more numerous showers this evening. Second wave approaches tomorrow from early afternoon thru evening with a chance of a T storm. High temps in the mid 60s each day, low temps in the upper 40s.
