SUNRISE COYOTES FOOTBALL CLUB FAQ’S How much is registration? $400 and this price includes everything your child will need except for footwear. You can pay all at once or make 4 equal payments of $100 each dated April 10, May 10, June 10 and July 10. (Cleats can be purchased at Home Run Sports, Sport Chek, Payless or anywhere else sporting footwear is sold.) Cash and Cheque will be accepted. Sorry no Debit or Credit Cards at this time When does the season begin? Practices will begin the week of July 15th. Setting the practice times and days will be done by the coach, but expect to practice between 2-3 times per week with one game per week, on a Saturday or Sunday. The season will end at the end of September with playoffs beginning of October. Where are practices and games? The Coyotes home field is behind the Springfield Middle School, on their rugby field. The uprights are the same size as football uprights. Game locations will vary. What other teams do we play against? There is only one football association in our province, the MMFA (Minor Football Association). We will play other teams both in the city and outside the city, such as St. Vital Mustangs, Transcona Nationals, East Side Eagles, Portage La Prairies, Eastman Raiders and others. We will have 8 scheduled regular season games. Can my daughter play? Of course! Minor football is open to both boys and girls from ages 7-14. Other questions?
