YOU and I are GREAT FOR JESUS, but we have done some DUMB things, NOW here we are AGAIN………………. …… ARE YOU DESTINED TO WIN, or just OVER RATED? Manning looks Destined, but he’s still gotta FIGHT it out Sunday. We don’t know what he and Denver will do. It’s not like the Seahawks are gonna try to lose just cause he’s Manning. And it’s not like the devil cares if YOU GOT JESUS. He will still play hard to make YOU lose, and make YOU not help DESTINED team mates. ……… …………………..I like to stick JESUS IN EVERYTHING and set the STANDARDS HIGH……….So since Superbowl is the BIGGEST single most WATCHED SPORTS even in the world………..I thought about some GOSPEL ANALOGIES that can help our lives. FIRST OF ALL CHRISTIANS ,we should WANT THE BEST. A football player and team STARTS OFF, all wanting to GET to the SUPER BOWL. It’s a TEAM SPORT. CHRISTIANITY IS A TEAM SPORT …………Take Peyton Manning for instance. Some players seemed destined. Like Ray Lewis last year. Just seems like when people play for so long, and one of the best they should go out on top with a SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP. But it rarely happens in sports. YET IN GOD’S KINGDOM, WE AS CHRISTIANS SHOULD GO out on TOP…………….HAVING bought MASSES TO JESUS, from all walks of LIFE. But we had to set the STANDARD HIGH. NO one accidentally gets to a SUPER BOWL, Coaches, players, GM planned it and BELIEVED it. What team ever says, WE DIDN’T EXPECT to be here?. LOL! They may say OTHERS didn’t expect this ,but WE played hard as a team, believed in one another and we HAD CONFIDENCE. We made plans, preparations and we BELIEVED. …… ……Same way in CHRISTIANITY. We look and see our past, where we lost and what we need to do. WE DON’T SAY, That can’t be done. WE SAY, IT CAN AND WILL BE DONE IN JESUS NAME………………Peyton Manning was basically let go of one team because his salary would have been sky high, he had been injured and sat out a year, and the team had the NUMBER ONE draft pick. And they choose a good quarter back named Andrew Luck. ……………….THAT HAPPENS in life to YOU CHRISTIANS………………you know GOD, and have been faithful, but stuff just happens. SO GOD moves you on somewhere. JOB had known GOD and been faithful. And suddenly he lost his family, wealth and health…………………………BUT IN THE END, GOD gave him a COMEBACK. And he forgave his friends. Like Peyton seems to have forgiven his old team. HE decided, FINE, I’LL go play somewhere else. They feel my injury means the best is in my past. I BELIEVE THE BEST is in my future. So he goes to the BRONCOS…………and guess what. He plays well, but LAST year, people forget. As good and hall of famish, great and greatest ever maybe Peyton is, he threw a DUMB interception while they were driving for the winning touch down to go to the Super bowl. PEOPLE forget that. I AM SURE, he didn’t. I am sure he thought about that ALL OFF SEASON. And guess what. THINKING ABOUT YOUR LOSSES, sometimes can MOTIVATE you. … ………DO YOU SAY, LORD where did I lose? I KNOW I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH YOU. And I know I have VICTORY, but it’s not AUTOMATIC ,or ACCIDENT. Where did I lose it? Was I not a team player? Did I not follow my coach? Did I practice and play my best? Did I let the world distract me or worldly desires?.....................GOOD PLAYERS think about the play they messed up on. Oh they don’t let it get them too down, but when the TIME comes again…………………………..Now will Manning and Denver win the SUPER BOWL? Just cause they look like Destiny, means nothing. He is MAYBE the best ever .Came back from a serious injury. Switched teams. And messed up last year when if he had held the ball, and tried the next PLAY…..so close. WE SOMETIMES are SO CLOSE to what GOD WANTS for our LIVES……SUPERBOWL SALVATION FOR US AND MANY………………..but, hall of famer, great team player, thinking quarterback or not, he has to battle GROWN men who also feels its their DESTINY. The Seattle Seahawks. They are not thinking how GOOD he and that team is. THEY ARE THINKING ,WE ARE DESTINY. See satan doesn’t care about JESUS or YOU. He’s still going to try to beat you even though HE knows JESUS has won, and YOU are of GOD. He’s still going to try HIS best. And has he ever defeated you? Well then, YOU KNOW THIS BATTLE ISN’T AUTOMATIC OR ACCIDENTAL. ……………….. ………………………….Finally JESUS manufactured his loss. HE TRIED TO GET CRUCIFIED. He looked hurt, injured and washed up and dead. BUT GOD bought Job back. And even Manning is back at a threshold. He may or may not win. IT’S SPORTS. On any given Sunday, a person and team of destiny can lose ,because the OPPOSITION isn’t dead and wants it just as bad. OH if they lose, they will say WELL, WE LOST TO A GOOD TEAM AND PEYTON MANNING, just seemed destined and simply is TOO GOOD this year .I MEAN THE MAN broke the TOUCH DOWN RECORD, YARDS, RECORD, and the team scored the most points ever. Yet the Seahawks can say, WE have the best Defense. The devil is going to try to stop our HIGH POWERED OFFENSE CHRISTIANS. Peyton Manning may win, and it will seem STORY BOOK, or he could throw three interceptions and lose. ……………………………………BUT WE know JESUS MANUFACTURED what looked like a loss, and TURNED IT AROUND WHEN HE rose. Then HE anointed a WHOLE CHURCH, along with the APOSTLES………………………….SO MY QUESTION IS, if JESUS WON after seeming to lose. If JOB won after seeming to lose. If Peyton looks like he may win, and HE might now………………………..BUT YOU and I have something MORE guaranteed then Peyton. WE GOT JESUS, and JOB to depend on. TOGETHER CHRISTIANS, we are headed to SUPER BOWL SALVATION. We already have it, BUT we still gotta fight. AND ESPECIALLY since we have it, FOR THE WHOLE TEAM of people appointed to come to GOD………………LET’S MAKE THIS A STORY BOOK ENDING, FOR however long we got. A FOURTH QUARTER, can be LONG AND ENJOYABLE, when you are MAKING A COMEBACK FOR JESUS. (Remember your losses like ALL GOOD players) Don’t think about your serious injuries of life. Forgive that team. And know GOD has another team that wants you. And YOU ARE A PERSON OF DESTINY, but it’s not AUTOMATIC, and WINNING WILL not be ACCIDENTAL. GOD and you PLANNED it, you prayed it, you talked it, then YOU WENT TO WORK on GOD’S PLAN and plays. And in doing that, YEAH…..you did have to fight the opposition. They didn’t just lay down. ………………..ARE YOU DESTINED TO WIN CHRISTIANS………….or just OVER RATED………………………….
