SUPPORT THEIR POWER Many people hold an underlying attitude that children are helpless or untrustworthy and that parents are completely responsible for controlling and molding them. Children, of course, pick up this attitude and reflect it in their behavior -- acting more helpless than they really are, or behaving in an untrustworthy manner. If you recognize children as powerful, spiritually mature beings, they will act accordingly, as will your friends, your lovers, and you.
