SURPRISE!! This was my greeting when I checked the sheep just before dusk last night! This was my oh, letss just make it easy for the shearer and throw the rams back in last April. I knew Poteen was pregnant but didnt expect lambing for at least 10 days. I thought I only put them all together 2 days before shearing so these little guys are a bit early but healthy and happy and in the barn for safe keeping until I bring the flock closer to the house. I have never had as much color in one sheep as this little spotted badger face ram lamb has. The little black ewe lamb has sugar lips so she will show grey as she ages. Happy day!
