SURRENDER DETERMINES SUFFICIENCY And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make thee and for thy son. For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. - 1 KINGS 17:13-14 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY◦°˚ Your sustenance is determined by your submission. According to the passage in our anchor text, Elijah placed a demand on the last meal of the widow with a prophetic decree that her supply would not expire. The poor widow believed the prophet, obeyed his instructions and saw miracles. ⚁ Your level of surrender to God determines your level of sufficiency and stability on earth. • Your sustenance is determined by your submission. • Your depth of consecration determines your height of manifestation. • Your life becomes qualitative when it is consecrated to God. • Your time multiplies in output when it si consecrated to God. •your business multiplies when it is consecrated by God. Whatever is not consecrated, committed or surrendered to God has no future. ✓Your marriage becomes beautified and dignified when it is surrendered to God. ✓Your depth in God determines your height in life. If you are someone that people refer to as being too deep, then get ready for distinction because God cannot deny Himself. ⚁ The widow gave her last meal to Gods prophet and unlocked the door of supernatural supplies. Whatever you are struggling to keep must simply be released to the Lord and you will see it multiply. The woman would have eaten the last meal and died with her son if she did not release a portion to the prophet of God first. ⚁ The point is, the money you have can never be enough for you when you fail to give God His portion (in tithes, offering, etc.). Someone once said, If your resources are not enough to meet your needs, it is your seed. Sow it for a harvest, instead of eating it. ¡RΞMΞMBΞR •◦° ˚° ˚ Your sustenance is determined by your submission. PRAYER ۩ Lord, I surrender my life, time and resources to you.
