SURVIVAL OF THE FAKEST: “For too long the debate about evolution has assumed ‘facts’ that aren’t true. It’s time to clear away the lies that obstruct popular discussion of evolution, and insist that theories conform to the evidence. In other words, it’s time to do science as it’s supposed to be done.” These powerful words from Jonathan Wells, an American molecular biologist, highlight a serious issue that my visitors should keep in mind. Jonathan elaborates further on the issue with these words: “SCIENCE NOW KNOWS THAT MANY OF THE PILLARS OF DARWINIAN THEORY ARE EITHER FALSE OR MISLEADING. YET BIOLOGY TEXTS CONTINUE TO PRESENT THEM AS FACTUAL EVIDENCE OF EVOLUTION. WHAT DOES THIS IMPLY ABOUT THEIR SCIENTIFIC STANDARDS?” Many of the subjects in this essay by Jonathan have been discussed in one way or another at this page. But here is a molecular biologist with a Ph.D who explains the facts behind some of these popular stories that have been used to support evolution. I’ve been criticized for posting ‘unscientific’ information because it dares to question evolution. Evolution, you see, is scientific and deals with just the facts; intelligent design is wishful thinking on the part of uneducated fools.
