SUSPECTS AT SHOPPING CENTRE – HONEYDEW While the Iron Fist Squad was out and about on Sunday morning at about 01:00, they received a call for back-up from our Tactical Reaction units. The security officer on site reported that three suspects had gained entry onto the premises by cutting the razor wire and was attempting to break into one of the shops. The premises are close to Zandspruit Squatter Camp and the camp was bustling with parties and intoxicated patrons. As soon as we arrived at the shopping centre we noticed the three suspects fleeing with the Tactical reaction guys and security officers on their heels. They ran into the squatter camp and disappeared. It was too dangerous to follow them into the bustling camp. They were spotted before they could break in!
