SW Road Race Work Group Treasurer The road race work group currently seek a new treasurer to take over from George Pym, who is desperate to get started on his pro cycling career. The role of treasurer is central to the success of the work group, overseeing the group’s financial affairs, ensuring that proper records are kept and monitoring and reporting on the financial health of the work group. If the following sounds like you or you are just keen to get involved, please get in touch with me for an informal chat. We are ideally looking for someone that is; • Numerate with good analytical skills and at least some financial accounting experience • Able to communicate clearly, make recommendations and present financial information in a way to make it understandable to those with a non-financial background. • Trustworthy and impartial, with good interpersonal skills • Ideally experienced in financial best practice relevant to voluntary and/or community organisations • Interested in competitive cycling (in any discipline) although this is not essential This is an honorary post, but the time commitment should amount to no more than a few hours each week during peak periods.
