SWEET APPLE POT STICKERS WITH CARAMEL SAUCE ©copyright – all rights reserved 1 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 pound of Granny Smith Apples, diced small 1 tablespoon brown sugar or more if needed 1 tablespoon of brandy or more if needed 1 package of Pot sticker wrappers or won ton wrapper Caramel Sauce – see recipe 1. Melt butter in skillet or wok.. Add apples and brown sugar and mix well. Cook over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes and just tender. Add brandy and cook for 1 more minute. Set aside to cool. 2. Place small amount of apple filling in center of wrapper. Brush water around edges of wrapper and fold in half. Press with fork to seal. Repeat until you have used up all the filling. 3. Bring a pot of water to a simmer boil. 4. Place stickers in gently boiling water and cook until they float and become somewhat translucent. Remove and drain on paper towels. 5. To serve, place on a platter and drizzle with caramel sauce. Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar, using a sieve.
