***SWEET SENIOR NEEDS HELP TONIGHT*** 12 year old Max is in real trouble. He arrived at Brooklyn ACC with one eye already surgically removed and now his other eye seems to be giving him some pain. Perhaps her people couldn’t afford more vet care; perhaps they didn’t think it was worth it—hard to know. But ACC doesn’t think anybody else would want to care for little Max and they’ve put him on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. Tonight, Max is pleading for that special someone who will get him to a good vet to check out that eye and make it stop hurting, someone who will bring him home to a soft bed, good food, lots of short walks and a chance to recuperate from this ordeal. He may not be a young man, but Max has lots more time left to enjoy life and to give out all those doggie kisses. If you’re that someone, start working on fostering or adopting Max. And if you can’t foster or adopt, consider pledging to help defray the cost of his vet care.
