SWEETNESS ALERT !! ON DEATH ROW !! PLEASE SHARE ! NYC ACC I agonized about how to present Reggie in her best light...then I realized a Volunteer captured Reggie perfectly! A volunteer writes: The day just started and I fell in love. Reggie was my first walk of the day and what a way to start my day. This gentle little girl was quiet in her kennel, tail wagging sweetly as she saw me approach. Reggie is an easy walk, her leash manners are lovely and she checks up as we go. As we walked I had the opportunity to admire her well groomed, rich color caramel coat with eyes to match. Her tail wags easily as we walk, and as we near a group of kids she perks up noticeably with a faster tail wag. Perhaps she lived with kids before as the sight and sound of the kids clearly made her happy. Reggie gives stand up hugs and kisses, loving to cuddle as we took some time together on the park bench. Posing for some pictures, Reggie sits when I ask her to and takes treats gently. The park was alive with squirrels preparing for winter and Reggie pulls towards them but is easily managed. Other dogs we pass get a happy wave of her tail and its clear she would love to play. Her kennel card is already filled with comments such as sweet girl, very sweet from other volunteers. Reggie aced her behavior assessment indicating she will be a good fit in just about any home.
