SYNOPSIS: Happy Monday! Heres a look at the world weather synopsis... ASIA: Tropical Storm #Kammuri will continue to move northeast and head out to sea, and thankfully, that will mean it will not cause any problems for any nearby land masses. A new tropical storm named #Phanfone has developed (again) near the Mariana Islands. We will have to keep an eye out on this system because the current forecast track takes the system toward the western portions of Japan toward the end of the week. The storm is expected to become a strong typhoon by Thursday. Beautiful weather will persist for Japan for a few days because of high pressure bringing very pleasant conditions. Eastern China and the Korean Peninsula will see some wet weather for the next few days as a front passes through, and behind the front will be very cold weather for China. Frost Advisories are in effect for the northeastern portions of the country. OCEANIA: Australia will remain relatively cloud-free during the next few days. A front might bring a few clouds for the far southeastern coast, but other than that, the skies will be relatively clear. The transition to the Spring season is providing warmer weather for the country. New Zealand should start seeing a drying period after Monday. There will be a few scattered showers Monday followed by sunnier skies Tuesday. EUROPE: A low pressure system will bring some instability into eastern Spain and central to southern France Monday. Expect the possibility of heavy rainfall along with hail, strong winds, and an isolated tornado. A ridge in central Europe is bringing fairer weather conditions for the central regions, but clouds are rolling through northern Europe, and there are some showers moving through western Russia due to a low pressure that is spinning east of St. Petersburg and Moscow. NORTH AMERICA: A low pressure system in southeastern Canada with an extended cold front into the US Deep South is going to bring some rain and storms for Monday. The northern areas near the low will experience some early autumn snowfall, with possible higher amounts for Monday. Meanwhile, another low crossing the Rockies will open the door for severe thunderstorms - including large hail and powerful winds. Hurricane #Rachel continues to spin in the Eastern Pacific with no problems expected from the system when it comes to affecting land. Hope you have a good day wherever you are!
