Sacred Journey Reflection #8: Today was a good day, but a long day nonetheless. As I was finishing up my evening prayers tonight, my mind went back to the tranquility of Medina. There is something wondrous about praying underneath the wide open skies. Its especially marvelous when the skies above are open wide with rays of sunlight beaming down and the cool breeze dancing all around while you pray inside a magnificent mosque. Just a truly magical experience and feeling...almost as if the prayers are literally flying directly to the heavens above. May this feeling of Divine connection be forever present in our hearts and a continuous source of enlightenment in our lives. Ameen.
