Maman Foning was the Honorable Mayor of Douala IV , she was Cameroons first ever national businesswoman and like a mom to my mom. Even though my mom never practiced politics....maman Foning called my mom her daugther....since they were both Bamileke women and belonged to the same cultural association. I will miss you Maman Foning...I miss your sense of humor especially when I was kid...and how youd joke that you see yourself in me....your tenacity.
