Sad. The one in Freehold closed LOOOONG ago, but I remember as a kid my Dad taking me there after Church. We would go to the newsstand for the Sunday Daily News and sometimes the NY Times, then to the bakery - crumb buns for me and Mom and cross buns for him. Later, there was one in Brick just at the corner out of our neighborhood. Zack used to drag us in there for brownies (and sometimes character cookies). Thats a lot of years and a couple generations.
