Sad sale of a childs first pony and true best friend. Chance has been part of our family for the past 4yrs, he has taught my three children to ride and be confident around horses, he has no nasty habits and is safe in all respects. We have done lots of Pony Club activities with Chance inc, rallies, shows, mounted games, fancy dress, sponsored rides, he has also done lots of local shows and is always well behaved wherever he goes, he has never come home without a rosette and is a guaranteed winner in the novelty classes!, he has good conformation and looks the part plaited up but we have never pursued any serious showing classes we have just shown for fun. Chance is good to hack and will happily follow mums horse all day off lead rein with the tiniest of jockeys, he will never try to run away or spin round for home, he will also lead from another horse. Chance is kept on a working farm and can be seen with tractors, cows, chickens, barking dogs and noisy kids, he just isnt fazed, he isnt spooky or silly in any situation. He is a true confidence giver on or off the lead rein, off the lead rein he will only go up a gear if the child is capable of asking correctly making him perfect for beginners tiny tots or an older child who has confidence issues, he is very tolerant of wobbly hands and unbalanced riders but if your looking for a whizzy forward pony he probably isnt the right pony for you. despite being 11h he has a deep girth therefore takes up lots of leg, my 10yr old doesnt look out of place on him! Chance is good with the farrier, does not need shoes, will happily live in or out and keeps a nice weight all year round, he has never had laminitis and is up to date with vaccs. Chance is only for sale as he has given my children the confidence to move onto bigger more forward ponies, there will be lots of tears but he would be wasted doing nothing.
