Sad state of academic life on many of our campuses. Your tax dollars at work. It was the Italian Communist Gramsci who said, Capture the culture, and you will capture the country. Unfortunately, there is a huge imbalance among academics in the liberal arts--very few conservatives and loads of leftists who then recruit their own for faculty positions which aggravates the problem. Cant we have a reasonable balance of views on our college campuses so that our young people can hear both sides of the intellectual argument? Where are the debates that once were a regular part of academic life when I was a college student?
