Sad to hear about the loss of local anglings biggest contributor Len Le Page. For anyone who doesnt fish; Len was the guy who wrote the angling column in the Guernsey Press every week for more than 20 years. Before Facebook and the Interweb he was the only way that people knew what was going on in the world of fishing. Len was also the guy who got me my very first job, at Guernsey Telecoms. He was one of the friendliest guys you could ever meet and always had time for a chat. Hes had a tough few years of late but was still keen to push his angling book as that was his big passion. He was a great man and played a significant part in the route that I took when I left school. Thoughts are with his family.
