Sad to say, but Ellie is up for sale. I feel I need a bigger horse for trails, although she does show signs of issue while Im riding her. She is pushing 14.3 hands and probably 950-1000lbs if I had to guess on weight. She stands for the farrier, baths (she will wiggle around a bit), saddling, bridling, and tied. She does pull back sometimes, I will go ahead and say. She is 3 years old, and a good looking red dun filly. She is a trail horse, knows how to side pass, back, walk trot lope, will go thru water/mud if she has to. She rides In a tom thumb bit and takes very little pressure to get her to stop. She is very sensitive and needs someone who has light hands. She has been beside the road once and trail ridden a good bit, with only about 3 spooks ever. Will lead or follow. Trailer loads also, has front shoes and has a current coggins...pulled a few months ago. Located in Rockwell nc, $950. She doesnt have to leave, I feel like it would benefit us both if I got a bigger horse for trails. She will go to an approved home only, with a contract.
