Sad update. It is with a heavy heart that I write to update that Logan has been air lifted to Riley again. He had 3 seizures today within a 3 hour period, 2 of which were in the ER at Parkview. These seizures cause him to quit breathing and lose coloration. His mothers plea is of course for the safety and comfort for her boy but her strength and love in the depths of such heartache continue to amaze me. His father Nathan was the rock his family today. We saw him be a pillar of strength in ways that I dont even think he knew was possible. Even the nurse staff complimented him for his ability to react, remain calm and comfort that precious baby. As we were preparing Amber and Logan for the helicopter ride, we ran into one of the paramedics that transported Logan last week to Riley (via ambulance) and my mom caught his attention and we asked if he was doing the transport again and if he remembered us. Hes a man of large statue and he said hes too big for the helicopter so he only does ground transport... it took him a minute to register us and then he looked at Amber and said that yes, he remembered her. He then asked what was going on and seemed to be genuinely concerned. He then embraced her and began to pray. It felt like such a sincere, simple act but it was another testament to Gods love. He doesnt know us and he didnt have to do that, but well take it! We continue to request prayers for Logans doctors for wisdom and insight for treating him. We continue to request prayers for peace for his parents as they trudge through this difficult valley and for his miraculous healing. heart
