Sadly our amazing adventure is blurring into a distant memory. Instead of daily reflections and reminders, we are now down to weekly recounts which still have us smiling from the inside out! Life in The 8W zone has been less than normal. While weve all settled into the ho hum of daily existence, the enormity of what weve achieved over the past 10 months certainly shines through. A 6 month adventure, incomparable to anything Ive ever done or achieved before and now the culmination of a relationship that has spurred a sense of purpose and definition in a life that otherwise was consumed by my role as mother and teacher. To share my life and all it encumbers (my fabulous children) with a man I adore and feel totally connected with is the ultimate prize in a precarious contest we call life. So on Friday we begin a very new and exciting chapter as the keys to our new house are handed over. Our house will become our home, a home connected by a common bond of love, adventure and aspirations! Our future will involve plenty of travel and adventure, with kids and without, but the one thing for sure, we are putting our best foot forward as we plunge into the abyss of blended family status!
