Saga of the White Dog - Continued: That lovely white Akbash down the road and up the next hill from us is breaking my heart. I want that dog for my own. She is begging for humans to love her and care for her. She has been coming home with me after she meets us for our walks every day. If I do not walk (like yesterday) she shows up at our place sooner or later. Last evening it was after Don got home. I happened to look out front and she was just sprawled out in the drive as if she were a road block. I fixed her a big bowl of food and called her onto the porch. She ate a 4-quart bowl full of dry food and then some. It took her a while to do that because she would eat for a minute or so and then stop and come put her head in my lap for petting. When she got enough human love she would go back to eat some more. I want this dog!!
