Sai Baba – Not Gone: Messages to My Children June 6, 2013 127 My Dear Children Do you see Me now? I am here with you. You can see Me with your inner eye, your Divine or Atmic awareness. As I am formless and extremely subtle, your awareness must also be subtle to see Me, or become aware of Me in you and around you. If your awareness has not been developed, purified, you won’t be able to see Me. How to develop this pure, subtle awareness? It takes a long time and much spiritual practice to develop it. You need to purify your mind, your consciousness, your character and also develop one-pointedness. You need to turn your vision away from the external world and concentrate and meditate inwardly on a form of God. This will lead to the awareness of the formless consciousness. Or concentrate for a long time one-pointedly on a star in the sky or a candle flame. But the most important aspect needed to develop pure awareness is purification. Keep the consciousness/mind pure and empty for long periods of time every day. Practice being the seer or witness as distinct from the seen. Constantly discern between what is Truth and what is untruth, and leave untruth. In this way you will slowly become aware of Me, the formless Atma. 128 My Dear Children When you see My form in a dream or vision, you are not seeing My Truth. My Truth is formless Atma. I appear in your dreams sometimes, because it is the only way for Me to contact you to give you an important message, teaching or blessing. But do not stop here and feel satisfied that this relationship you have in dreams is the goal to be reached. Not so. The form is still involved here; there is duality; there is untruth. You must go on in your spiritual practice until you have experienced My Atmic nature, which is your Atmic nature. This merging is true intimacy wherein you can say experientially, “My Father and I are One”. You would also be happy to hear Swami speak to you in your consciousness, so develop clairaudience, through inner listening in the silence within. This also takes some time to develop, so begin now to cultivate this gift of Spirit or Atma. I bless you that you continue to flower spiritually and attain the Atmic Self. 129 My Dear Children Though you may not be aware, I know you through and through, past, present and future. You may ask, “How can I know the future when it has not happened yet?” I see what you do not see. The present thoughts and actions determine the future along with karmas from the past. Your future is being determined every moment you live. Your Higher Self is always working for you, setting out the best path for your journey. As your Lord and Satguru, I am also determining your future, what is best for your spiritual growth. Your Higher Self and My Self are not separate. We are mostly one and have your spiritual evolution as the top priority. It is very important for you to align your thoughts, words, and actions with Atma, to ensure the best possible future for spiritual development. Keep negativity away; keep company of good, saintly people, perform Selfless service in society.
