Saint Andrew the First Called Orthodox Church is growing but we - TopicsExpress

Saint Andrew the First Called Orthodox Church is growing but we cannot currently afford a new Church so we are making changes at the current location to accommodate the increase in attendance at our Parish. We moved the Choir to the Epistle side of the Nave which increased our seating by 24. We removed the partition that blocks your view when you enter through the double doors on the Epistle side of the Church, and greatly increased the appearance of the Nave, making it seem much larger. We will be installing a railing at the Eastern end of the choir to keep it separate from those entering through the Epistle side doors. We now proceed to partake of the Holy Mysteries of Communion of men with God by a procession up the center aisle with two lines, one for the Epistle side of the Church and one for the Gospel side of the Church. Please pardon the dust as we prepare the Hall with new doors, floors, baseboard and trim. We have also installed a new wall in the kitchen that separates the Range/Oven side from the Refrigerator/Freezer side so that we can accommodate another Sunday School Room for this falls classes. These changes are for the growth and betterment of Saint Andrews and any donations you can make to offset the costs of the renewal of our Church Building will be greatly appreciated. God Bless you all and hope to see you at Liturgy. /Bob Medvesky
