Saint Nicholas von der Flue We used to go and visit he’s Church as Children. His relics are in Sachseln, which is on lake Sarnen. He was foretold by God, in the 14 century: Of the coming reformation and if he did, what he did, the centre part of Switzerland would be saved and stay Catholic! Hence Switzerland, consists of one half of Catholic Cantons=Counties and half protestant Counties. Switzerland was founded in 1291 when they kicked out the Habsburgers and started the Confederation of Switzerland on the Catholic Faith. Till the reformation Switzerland was Holy Catholic!!! Around the lake of the 4 Cantons, Uri, Schwyz, Obwalden is a have Canton with Unterwalden and Luzern this makes it 4 Cantons. The lake is better known as Lake Lucerne. Hence on our Car number plates we have CH, which is the Latin for United States. The US took the blueprint from Switzerland to form the USA. Sachseln is in the Canton of Obwalden. The Counties in the centre part of Switzerland, which stayed Catholic, are Uri, Schwyz, Unterwalden, and Obwalden, Luzern und Zug. I am from the County Luzern a small down called Willisau the original part of our Church is build in the Roman Stile. Thy have maid it larger since but the original Tower is still standing in the Roman Stile. There is a Pic on my FB page. We where let to come to New Zealand in 1973 by the Holy Family, the Seed of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church of God. I had a 2 years contract working for the then THC=Tourist Hotel Corporation of New Zealand in Hotel Management we got married before we came and now we are Grand Parents Prays the Lord!!! My wife is from London and the Children where all borne in New Zealand One in Dargaville, Whangarei and Auckland where we have been for the last 30 years and in New Zealand for 41.
