Look for earthy yeast tones, mild to moderate tartness. Lots of spice and w/ a medium bitterness. They tend to be semi-dry w/ many only having touch of sweetness. This new Saison from Upright Brewing in Oregon is called seven & is a perfect example of this terrifically refreshing style now on tap. Live music this evening from 8-10 features Paul Cataldo in from Asheville, NC as tonights special guest in Jun Bustamantes Original Music series.
