Salaam All. Sorry I was supposed to get back to you all about the Journal publication date being extended since most of us have delayed the submissions or re-submissions. As such we have agreed to delay for a final submission on the 10th of January. This means these articles will be with me latest on the tenth of the month with no alterations afterwards, whatsoever. After which i will have only five days to insert it in the Journal. The Journal will also have important dates section, such as: * TISH (Today In Somali History) which will be an entry of a date and what happened that date. No explanation offered. (Feel free to bombard me with TISH dates.) * RECOMMEND A BOOK section: Again, Simply a title, author and brief line or two covering maximum of 30-50 words. (Again if you feel like recommending anything, go ahead, but keep it within the Somali Studies please.) * SPEAKING STILLS section: Images you have taken or have permission to use that speak volumes to you. These images will accompany simply emotional description of two to three words. Aim is that the image speaks to you, as a viewer, and not the words. (So again feel free to add what you can, remember we have another Somali Studies Journal edition for April to plan, so wheel in your ideas… ) These were all my ideas and anyone can add or subtracts anything that I have mentioned here above. Look forward to your feedback.
