Salaries for the government employees should be directly proportional to the countrys GDP. But in kenya even after having a low GDP, salaries for some employees are way above the required standards. How can we have elected leaders and some commissioners earning more than the same in USA which is one of the known developed country. Who sets salary standards and when were they last revised? Now senators want more allowances and MCAs want car grants, what is the fate of the poor kenyan who does not even have to eat? Must we have a revolution to change method governance in kenya?
