Salat(nimaz)is very important pillar of our religion,Islam;yet how many percentage among us who perform this obligation with the concentration and the comprehension of its text which is in Arabic and Arabic is a foreign language.Unfortunately,our so-called religious leaders only emphasize and persuade their followers(muqtaddeens) to establish the salat and they do not bother to teach them the meanings of the salat.Until and unless,the Musalli(nimazi) does not understand as to what is he/she supplicating for,in the prayer,then how could the humility and meekness be generated in the salat.It would be justifiable to say that we are just reciting the salat like the parrot,without knowing the meanings thereof.Thus,we cannot claim to establish the salat as we are supposed to.
