Sales Account Executives at Grivy leverage current connections and related experience in advertising to build partnerships with local merchants. They seek out partnerships with restaurants, theaters, spas, and everything in between, negotiating unbeatable offers on behalf of Grivy’s subscribers. We hire connected, driven, intelligent, and innovative individuals. Experience with online sales and advertising are beneficial to an Account Executive’s success and fit within our team. The responsibilities: Prospect, consult with, and close local merchants on compelling offers for our subscribers based on each business’s products & services. Identify new and creative businesses & activities to be featured, expanding the range of offers for our subscribers. Present Grivy as a unique alternative for businesses to utilize as a way of acquiring new customers. Call merchants who have expressed interest in possibly featuring with Grivy. Determine the optimal fit with our platform and standards to both highlight the merchant and delight the consumer. Over time, cold-call new and re-engage past merchant partners across a spectrum of categories that include food and drink, beauty and health, getaways, etc. Develop familiarity with each merchant’s business, including but not limited to: products and/or services, consumer demographics, consumer ratings, points of competitive differentiation, merchant economic model, and revenue and profit drivers. Understand and apply concepts of deal structure and strategy that are proven models for successful achievement of merchant’s desired outcomes. The requirements: 1 years of extensive on-line advertising sales to local merchants in Jakarta and or Bali. Experience canvassing and cold-calling into various types of local businesses, with evidence of consistent and current success. A desire to learn and develop sales skills, and the tenacity to continue. Evidence of succeeding in environments requiring high degrees of diligence and accountability. A balance of coachability and confidence Comfortable in a competitive environment, with evidence of personal ambition to improve. Experience working in a customer-contact capacity, where customers respected and liked you. The basic stuff: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent. Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. The job requires quite a significant amount of travelling so work location is not the important aspect.
