Mr Hunt told Sky News that once the carbon tax was repealed, he expected “a very strong groundswell” from business pressuring Labor to support Direct Action, which is also opposed by the Greens and PUP. Mr Hunt believes he can implement the policy given the money has already been appropriated by using regulation. But this is not as ideal as legislation.
