Salman Khan New Movie News: Bollywood Film Called ‘Jai Ho’ Not ‘Mental,’ First Poster to Release Soon, Hoping to Beat Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor in Box Office Records There were many reports claiming that Salman Khan’s new movie was titled “Mental,” however, sources confirmed that the actual title is “Jai Ho.” Producers of the new Bollywood film have also announced that the movies first poster will be released on October 2, 2013. Jai Ho” is a remake of “Stalin,” directed by A.R. Murugados, which is set to hit theaters on January 24, 2014. The film, directed by Sohail Khan, is one of the most anticipated movies of 2014 which is reportedly to be very different from other Bollywood films. Salman Khan will play the main male lead in “Jai Ho,” a movie based on a social cause, while Pulkit Samrat and Vikas Bhalla will be seen doing cameo appearances in the film. Salman Khan recently stated that he is dedicated to breaking Box Office records with his new release. He targeted Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor stating that he is ready to beat them with his work. Although he doesn’t have a problem with any actor, during an interview to promote his movie with “Big Boss” show, he stated that his upcoming release will break upcoming Box Office records, whether it’s Aamir Khan’s “Dhoom 3” or Ranbir Kapoor’s “Besharam.” “If I have any problem then I want to beat the person through my work. My next release will be an answer to all the new records which are going to happen at the box-office be it Aamir’s ‘Dhoom 3’ or new actor Ranbir’s next film,” said Khan, according to One India Entertainment. It’s been evident that Khan and Kapoor share a bit of a rivalry since the “Besharam” actor is now dating Khan’s ex-girlfriend, Katrina Kaif. Khan also had some heat with SRK after they got into a huge argument at Kaif’s party a few years back. However, the two have been recently spotted hugging it out during an Iftar party, putting aside all their differences. “I don’t have any personal enmity with him and I know his release broke all my records,” said Khan about SRK. Salman Khan has starred in “Ek Tha Tiger,” “Dabangg 2,” Bodyguard,” “Ready,” and “Dabangg.” These five back-to-back hits have brought Khan at the top of his game. He might be making a sixth Rs. 10 crore ($ 1,601,500) hit with his next film, “Jai Ho” which is set to release early next year.
