Salman Khans sister Arpita got married in Hyd at Falaknuma Palace. It was like any other wedding affair. He was trying to make it very personal by keeping the media out and getting his fans lathicharged who had gathered outside the Palace to have his glimpse. He was so engrossed in the wedding celebrations that he did not even have the courtesy to come out to acknowledge their love and affection. I fail to understand why this hysteria among the people to leave their work and stand outside the hotel like fools. Media also gave too much hype to this wedding. I think it was not an event to have been covered so extensively and hugely. There are important events which go just unnoticed by media. There are hundreds dying on the roads and media hardly cover or report these incidents and even if they do it will be in some place. In case of high profile accidents, both national and regional media reach with their OB vans and every other news is stopped and only this news run. Why discrimination between a common man and the high profile cases. Like wise many weddings take place in our country but just because it happens to be a celebrity wedding we are all forced to watch and read...somehow our attitude and approach has to change. ..Salman khan though an extremely fine human being, the most charitable person but at the same time must set the example of the simple marriages..the world knows he can afford anything not just a wedding at Falaknuma but the people in postion and power must set the right example...I know many of Salman khans fans might not like what I have written here but at the same time we all must show our concern against such lavish extravaganza. ..youth literally idolises Salman Khan and every youth will have a dream that his wedding also should be an exhibition of wealth...millions of our young sisters are sitting at home as their parents cant afford their marriages due to the demands of dowry. ..Amir khan also must be practical and must practice what he preaches..recently he did a show on this and there he was promoting the wedding..why these double standards...a time for all of us sit back and think..!!!
