Salvage experts have got their first look on board the stricken car carrier Hoegh Osaka today two days after it was deliberately beached on a sand bank in the Solent. The team from Dutch based firm Svitzer were assessing how - and when - they can safely refloat the huge vessel without risking any oil pollution. Extra tugs are due to be brought in over the coming days to stop it moving as the weather deteriorates on Wednesday. But its still not clear exactly what caused the incident. This evening Sally Taylor was live in Cowes for South Today where she was joined by Dr Simon Boxall from the Southampton Oceanography Centre.
