Salvation and healing; these are the two most important characteristics of revival that is brought about by the glory of God according to the Scripture in Ezekiel 47. If the church, be it local or global, fails to show forth these characteristics of revival, the indication is clear that it is experiencing Ichabod – the departed glory. But where the glory is present, signs and wonders shall not lack. As much as God is willing and desiring to manifest His glory, it is our responsibility to open all the valves and let the rivers of living water gush out of our spirits. God will not do it all by Himself: that is what He has set in motion according to His Word. He wants to work in partnership with man. Just as satan used man to wipe this planet of the glory of God through deception, God will use man to restore His glory through the Truth – the Word. But this Word abides in us according to Scripture (Rom. 10:8-10). Will you let yourself go into this partnership with God? He’s waiting upon you!
